Jack (1996)

When we were young, we fantasize of getting older while earning big bucks, travelling all around the world with unlimited freedom.

When you reached a certain age, we wish we could just freeze time.

Looking back thinking, we have not even reached half of what we dreamt of as a kid.

I'm feeling exactly the same now

Sometime I wish I could have a life like Peter Pan, the boy who never grow up.

Thankfully, I stumble on this old movie way back in 1996 'Jack' by Robin Williams, make me think that growing old is not a bad thing at all.

Here's the synopsis:

The movie is about a boy with a unique aging disorder: one that makes him age 4 times faster than normal. Movie picks up when Jack (Robin Williams) is 10 years old, but looks 40. He tries to go to public school for the first time, and tries to become friends with kids his own age.

Just imagine 10 year old kid trapped in a 40 year old body.

Thank you Jack for making me realize that age is really a matter of mind.

If you are an 80's babies ..you will sure remember this cartoon... GI Joe..

So, I was extremely excited when there is movie remake of this cartoon!!

I LOVE IT TO THE MAX!!!

Fun + Thrill + Non Stop Action!!

The fighting scene is a must watch...the funny part is the one dressed in white is the bad guy..

Hey, i thought white suppose to be someone angelic..

This is the main actor.

If you guys notice, he also the main actor in the a dance movie!!

No words that I can describe a man that can dance and handle weapons...




Here is the another villian (Siena Miller) who turned good the last minute.

Seems like, she kena inject by a serum that control her mind..

P/S: She & the main actor used to be lover!!

The main actor thought she turned into the darker side cause he thought she was still mad at him for not saving her brother (which was in a war with the main actor)

Whoa....but there a little twist in this movie that you would never guess it.. Is her brother really dead??

Watch it & you will find out.

Suspense~~

I still think that the only girl that look good is tight latex is Angelina Jolie.

Sorry girl, you are just trying too hard.

Definitely will watch GI Joe 2 if there is any some time later

Been in a movie marathon again... Three movies in a week!!

Suddenly i feel like a student once again.

Watched 'The Proposal' with my girlfriends after hearing rave review about it!!

The Proposal feat Sandra Bullock & Ryan Reynolds.

Its a romantic comedy about a super bitchy carrier minded editor , Margaret (Sandra) who is a Canadian with some visa problem, bound to be kick off from US & lost her job.

So what the super bitch do?

Grab his super hot assistant, Ryan (Andrew)to fake a marriage.

And how must they convince the immigration dept??

They both must go thru an interview with intimate question about each other without getting any question wrong.

And how are they able to do that?

The super bitch editor must follow the super hot assistant to his hometown at Stilka, Alaska to meet his parents

The best part has yet to come..hehe

'"Would you marry me , PLEASE??" This is how Margaret beg Andrew to marry him (notice that Christian Louboutin killer heel she is wearing- it spells SEXY)

I laugh non-stop at this scene...

Its Margaret trying to save the dog from an eagle (yes ..eagle) but the eagle ended up taking her one and only handphone..lol

See the 'muka terpaksa' both of them after announcing their marriage. You can see everyone is happy especially Grandma..he he

Half naked Margaret trying to get the towel but later bumped into Andrew who so happened to be naked too.

I think a lot of the carrier minded ladies can see a part of themselves in Margaret.

They will work in every way to reach their goal..

They make look invincible, sometimes we forget that they are just human being with feelings.

The superficial mask they put on will eventually worn off and revealed they sentimental part of them that no one else know.

Would you believe they sometimes cry in bed??

Cinta Pandang Pertama

Been wanted to test myself whether i can still write grandmother stories in BM..

Secara asasnya, saya percaya cinta pandang pertama adalah berdasarkan kepada tarikan fizikal.

Siapa diantara kita yang tidak tertarik seseorang yang mempunyai rupa yang menawan.

Tetapi di kalangan yang mempunyai rupa yang menarik, adakah semua mereka memiliki hati yang setahap dengan rupa luaranya??

Jikalau anda mahu mencintai seseorang, biarlah isi hati si dia yang dapat menyinari terus ke matamu kerana cinta yang berdasarkan tarikan kepada rupa seseorang bagaikan lilin... Lama-kelamaan api lilin yang membara akan padam pada akhirnya juga!!

District 9

You will either love or hate the movie District 9.

I so happen to be in the category who like this movie.

Maybe its because I did not have any high expectation on this movie for several reasons:

1) The leading actor / actress are not someone famous

2) Its a sci-fi movie with aliens (some sci-fi movie looked incredibly stupid when not properly done)

3) The movie is kinda long ( 1hr 52 min) - Its not a bad thing but just imagine sitting on a bad movie for 1hr 52 min...its like kena nagging & you can't escape ..

The not so famous actor that have a funny Greman accent

The first few minutes I was totally amazed by this. Different from what I ever seen. They chooses a variety of method to get the message across eg using interviews, live news coverage etc...

Check out this alien leader who wears a red vest & yellow pants for the entire show & speak like 'cicak' - super funny

The sad part is...this movie show humans are really brutal in exploiting & will do anything including taking other people or other species life just to satisfy their greediness.

Nah..faster sign for eviction if not you will be DEAD !!

What is more sad is that I realised that we are actually living in the same world as the movie at District 9 with the same type of humans in it...

Was in the bus on the way to work when a lady sitting a few feet in front of me keep on waving to get my attention & pointing at my chest.

I looked dowards & opps.....guess what???
My middle button of blouse is widely open showing off my bra...
I quickly buttoned it up & thanked her.

This scenario happened to me all the time.
But not everytime, there some kind enough or should I say brave enough to approach me...
By the time I notice it...the world will notice the same too..

So would you approached & tell someone if his/her zipper or blouse ??

Platonic Relationship

It's been a long long time since my last post.. Yup I've been MIA for a while finding excuse on not updating this blog.

I have a question that keep on lingering in my mind.

Do u believe in Platonic Relationship?

For those who heard of this term for the first time Platonic relationship is actually relationship between individuals of the opposite sex marked by the absence of romance or sex.

So to put it simply, a platonic relationship is a close friendship between a man and women.

So do I believe in this??

Cried over remembering the SMS that he sent over promising he make a better tommorrow.

After all the crying, you need to stand up on your own feet, honey & tell yourself you can make it better without him.

And please please...don't ever stalk the girl that he having affair with.

Don't compare yourself with her ..its never ending

Watchmen The Movie

WATCHMEN ...

I really don't know hoe to review this movie as it very forgettable...

Even the action stunt leave me very sleepy..

Hoping the love scene between the two love bird would save this movie but only make the matter worst.

The so called 'lead actress' break up for Dr Manhantam (the blue guy within the superhero with real power) made out with other superhero within the gang & the end still love & made out Dr Manhantam again.

Make up your mind young lady !!

Ok...So if your not into the love scene in the movie...

Surely you be attracted with the super hot superhero chick...

Correct me if I'm wrong, I think this gal is not HOT at all..Yet I think her latex outfit is kinda tacky..

Orange & Black !! (What Are you thinking!!, please get a stylist)

You wanna know who's HOT ..Lara Croft (no question)

Forget about watching hunky superhero!!

All you get is a semi naked aqua blue guys who is sometimes forget to wear his pants & our Malaysia Censory have to cover up his 'private part'.

And he talk super slow too....more Grandad with no expresion watsoever

Here comes the movie I'm dying to watch.

Here's the plot outline of the movie:

Look at the Fashion Sense (Remember girls : Less is More)

Based on the books "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and "Shopaholic Takes Manhattan" by Sophie Kinsella. Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is a 25 year old who lives with her best friend Suze (Krysten Ritter) in Suze's flat (paying her friend rent that is well below market value), in a trendy part of town. Rebecca has a very boring job writing for a financial magazine. She has a shopping addiction and her crap job doesn't pay enough. Her bills are piling up, so she tries cutting back (complete fiasco), then she tries making more money (another fiasco). Eventually, Becky discovers a story that she is truly invested in. Exposing the story gets the attention of a (male, need I say more?) colleague that she hasn't quite figured out yet. Some drama ensues as she snags the (EXTREMELY hot) guy, and she attempts to pay off her ever-growing debt.

Well, I seems to relate myself to that movie but I don't see myself as a shopaholic even though shopping is my favorite past time.. (it's more window shopping now).. I'm a self confess BARGAINHOLIC

I go for bargain items where you can just buy expensive looking item with just a minimum price..

My recent buy was a t-shirt from British India that cost RM15.20. The original price was RM79.00...(I must be crazy if I did not purchase it)

Shops at Times Square offers cheap clothing too... RM10 for any item in the shop : that could be t-shirt, pants, skirts, cardigan etc ( bad news is : no trying , You have to follow your heart)

But don't ever get the shopping craziness up to you until you lost your own judgement.

When I saw this poem, it give me that extra 'umph' to work harder to please myself not to impress others....

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Watched ' The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' last week.

Been wanted to see that movie since the big fuss of nomination in the Oscar & Golden Globe and mainly Brad Pitt is the main actor..huuuu (hold your horses, girl)

Basically he got a Topsy turvy life, he is born old & getting younger by the years.

One thing that strikes me on the movie is how the two say goodnight to each other eventhough they are far apart & they totally not aware that their other half do the same thing too.

Believe it or not...this is what I did, saying good night to that someone under my breath every night since few years ago. Although that someone will never know & never will, it doesn't matter anyway.
(Warning... that someone is not someone I have crush on ok..the someone is just a nobody someone..hehe)

It become a habit that become a part of me that I find it very hard to change.

What are you doing Sunday morning at 7am?

It's really a magical place hidden & sometimes we forget that life simple pleasure is just around you all the time =)

CNY is finally over... well its been over for quite some time.. & I'll been keeping this draft in my blog for the longest time.. No time ma!!

A week before CNY, I got a msg from an old classmate Kwang Yau to have form 6 gathering at Kenny Rogers. Yippee!! It was been quite a while since our last gathering that was at Izzi ( i think that was 2007)

Just as I thought, they all are still the same. Although I must admit, all of them looked more pretty & dashing (not to forget the guys thou only 2 of them showed up)..haha

Yann Mey- At the end of the dinner, when we are saying goodbye to her. We all just knew that she's pregnant. OMG!! You're gonna be a hot mamma soon gal.

Le Sze- I've have not met her for the longest period. Nevertheless, she looks hot with her to-die-for funky hairstyle. I'm getting her hair stylist soon.

Siew Bee- My 'lou kong' a.k.a 'gossip kaki' . Once we are together, we can just talk about anything.

Foong Keng- My Darling Bestie..Also did not meet up with her a loooooog time. Kinda feel guilty about it. Sorry Lai... sushi on me ok??

Soo San- Our 'olahragawati' . Waa..bangganya!! Even with 5 inch high heels also can't compete with her height. Aisey... I feel so short!

Suet Phun- The only Bio Chem from our class that I know that venture into this field.

Kok King- Malaysian import to Stocklom, Sweeden...He managed to join us after his very loooooong flight back to Malaysia. Went skiing a day before lagi .. Hmmp!! Envy!!

Child Abuse

I sat in front of the TV watching Oprah one day thinking it will another episode of weight loss or health.

Little did I knew, I was about child molestation and raping video. How could any human being been so sick who could ever do such sickening thing to a little child!!

The worst part was getting those sickening people are so disgusting that they put their sickening act in a video and post it over the internet. How could anyone will be enjoying watching such crazy thing.

I cried the whole hour watching the confessions of the victims. They were just around 7-10 years old that time. Not knowing who to trust & rely o. The saddest part is the sick person who did that crime on them are someone they knew & trust.. That the biggest betrayal ever!!

The victims ' family memebers & the victims themsleves did not know about their abuse untill the police found the video in the internet & track them down.

So people, it's up to you.You can sit around pretending to be blind & deaf. Not knowing you have hurt a child's emotionally & mentally in long term just by doing NOTHING....
